A late 1940's industrial all metal desktop fan by General Electric. This is the Vortalex model, so called due to it's unusual blade design. It has a heavy metal base and distinctly Art Deco design cage. It has 2 speed settings and comes with the original General Electric plaque to the front and metal serial number plaque to the side. The powerful motor runs well. Please note that it does not oscillate from side to side. Great collector's item or funky steampunk display piece.
