A late 19th / early 20th Century pair of pince-nez eye glasses complete with hanging chain and case. The frame, lenses, chain and case are all in extraordinarily fine antique condition.
I'm not entirely sure as to the type of the metal frame. In my opinion, it is either gold-filled or gold-plated.
The saddle bridge is stamped with an "A" within a circle and followed by "FITS-U". Kindly view the images to see the amazingly intricate technology of the bridge mechanism.
