Rare Solid Silver Cape Colony 1902 King Edward VII Butterworth Coronation Medal.

A very rare Cape Colony: Coronation of King Edward VII: Butterworth Public School medal in solid silver.  The obverse bears an image of the king in uniform and states "EDWARD VII" and "THE KING GOD BLESS HIM".  The reverse states CORONATION / JUNE 26.1902. with "PUBLIC SCHOOL above and BUTTERWORTH.S.A. below.  Bears maker's mark for Israel Sigmund Greenberg & Co and hallmarks for Birmingham, 1901.  Ref : Laidlaw: 0758 (catalogued at over R3000).
