Printed circa 1942. In cartoon style illustrated softback covers. Book has some smudging and transferance on covers, due to war time printing. Spine has damage, but holding. Some watermarks / foxing. Otherwise in a good condition.

George Butterworth (1905-88) was a cartoonist and sports reporter for the British publication 'Daily Dispatch'. He subsequently appeared on Hitler's "death list" (according to Wikipedia)!
