Frederik Johannes (Frikkie) Kruger (1907-1966) was a South African Impressionist & Modern sculptor who participated in the construction of the Voortrekker Monument in Pretoria. As a sculptor, he worked predominantly in bronze. I believe this was a preliminary cast clay work for one of his bronzes. The sculpture is in good vintage condition and signed by the artist.
