From warinangola.com:  6 Maintenance Unit (6 Maint Unit) [Afr: 6 Onderhoudseenheid (6 Ondh Eenh)] was established as Sector 20 Mauinenance Unit, the main unit responsible for logistical supply at Rundu military base in Northern South-West Africa, to concide with the establishment of Sector 20 in around 1978/79. During 1980, Sector 20 Maintenance Unit changed to 6 Maintenance Unit, and moved into a new, purpose built HQ complex, where the old petrol depot used to be. The old Maintenance Unit HQ used to be in two temporary prefab buildings right across the road from 32 Bn HQ, and the LWT. It would have been disbanded with the closure of the Sector 20 HQ in 1989 when the South African forces withdrew out of South-West Africa/Namibia.
