The SWA Military School (SWA Mil School) [Afr: SWA Militêre Skool (SWA Mil Skool)] was established at Okahandja towards the end of 1979 and was incorporated as such into the SWA Territorial Force (SWATF) when it was formed in August 1980. It focused on the training of junior leaders which included officers and non-commissioned officers of the SWATF. After the SWATF was closed down the military school was renamed to Osona military school, now part of the Namibian Army.
